In a press conference in August 2010, an observant member of the press corps noticed that Obama did not wear either his wedding ring or his watch. Upon asking why, a White House staff member offered the reason that the missing watch was "out for repairs" but gave no reason for the missing wedding ring.
Interestingly, it is a fact that it is haram (forbidden) for Moslem men to wear any kind of jewelry during Ramadan (the Moslems' month-long fasting which began on August 10, 2010). It is also intriguing and it has become common knowledge among Washington DC's "beltway crowd" that while Obama claimed to be a "committed Christian" while he campaigned as a presidential candidate prior to the 2008 elections, unlike his predecessors, ever since Obama moved into the White House, he and his family have never yet attended any Christian service nor have the Obamas joined any Christian church in Washington DC.
Is it just coincidence? Or has another piece of the "Obama enigma" fallen in place?
As one pundit asked: When will Americans finally accept the truth that a Moslem, who is neither a real Christian nor has any real love for America or any real respect for the US Constitution, is in the White House?
