"I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go..." -Genesis 28:15
Life without suffering isn't life at all.
Fear of suffering, fear of pain, fear of hurt, and fear of loneliness has no place in the life of the believer because, guess what? Suffering is coming, pain is coming, death is coming, and hurt is coming.
In the midst of it, God will give you the right choices. He will comfort you. He will be the place where you go to find solace, where you'll never be alone.
You are never, ever, ever, never alone. The God who loves you and wants the best for you will never leave you. You can wake up every morning in the midst of his joy and laughter, mirth, and love. And every night you can sleep in the midst of His peace and eternal beauty and goodness.
Every day is God's blessing. God is always with us. He is the water in which we swim. He is always around us and His blessing is always with us. You are never alone. Never. You see, we live in a God-bathed world.
Prayer: Dear Lord, I need never be lonely knowing you are by my side. I need never be afraid or anxious knowing that your will is alive in my life. Whenever I am suffering, you will carry me through. Amen.
Reflection: When do you feel the loneliest? How have you turned to God for comfort when you feel far away from everyone else? -Hour of Power
