Isn't it strange how a $20 bill seems such a large amount when one donates it to charity, but very small when one spends it on senseless purchases to satisfy an unnecessary fancy?
Isn't it strange how an hour seems so long when one talking about what really important matters (God/religion, heaven/life hereafter, etc.), but how short it is when watching some exciting [but dumb] movie or just sitting around with pals exchanging bullsh-t?
Isn't it strange how one finds no time for prayer & meditation but plenty of it when talking and trading nonsense with colleagues and friends?
Isn't it strange how reading one chapter in The Bible to feed one's soul and spiritual life is boring but not when reading several chapters and several hundred pages of some cheap, worthless novel?
Isn't it strange how folks want front-row seats in a concert or ballgame but the very last row in church?
Isn't it strange how one needs to know days or weeks in advance to see whether one can fit into one's busy schedule a "religious" event, but can readily fit into one's schedule, even at the last minute, a rock concert, a movie, a trip to Las Vegas or other mindless event?
Isn't It strange how difficult it is to share God's gospel (God's good news) with others, but how easy it is to share and spread gossip and trivia?
Isn't it strange how some readily believe practically everything they hear and read from books, magazines/newspapers, the radio/TV and other media sources & social communication network, but quickly question and even refuse to believe anything The Bible says?
Isn't it strange how many people claim a desire to be heaven but do all kinds of things which won't get them there?
Isn't it strange how people automatically share & forward cheap e-mail jokes and useless information to everyone, but think twice before sharing/forwarding an article about God lest it might offend others?
It is really and truly strange but nonetheless real and true, isn't it?
